Description
UREXACT 2000 is a fully automated urine monitoring system which incorporates an innovative urine collection device and a highly sophisticated, reusable electronic monitoring unit. UREXACT provides reliable information on the quantity of urine produced by the patient. Error rates are in the order of, ± 10%, considerably lower than manual urine measurements. UREXACT 2000 achieves real-time monitoring of patients urine, and provides a history of urine flow rate, measurements unavailable in conventual systems. The device has a variety of alarm settings; simplified access to patient information. All this automation and information significantly improves the management of patients body fluid balance and reduces the workload of clinical health care workers while improving urine measurement accuracy. UREXACT can considerably improve the care and prognosis of critically ill patients.
